I don’t quite remember which class it was, but I can vividly remember one of my engineering professors standing at the front of the class assuring us that these engineering classes were great and all, but the most important classes we could take are business classes, liberal arts and the like. I knew everything 20 years ago, so I stayed as far away from those as I could. Now I’m trying to figure out which taxes we have to pay and when, how to run payroll, and how to administer a Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangement (if you don’t know what that is, and you’re a small business you should check it out). Oh, and we have fifty projects in the books at this point! It’s been an exciting 6 months or so, to say the least.
